Continued congratulations on being a Chairman’s Circle member! We are so excited to celebrate your awesomeness. Soon enough, you and your guest can pack your bags to attend our 37th Annual Chairman’s Circle event, July 10-13, 2023, at the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, SC.

We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone in person to celebrate your outstanding achievements from 2022. You and a guest are invited to join us at the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island for a 3-night stay that includes a fantastic agenda of receptions, business sessions, hosted activities and explorations of the gorgeous surroundings in South Carolina!

Accommodations

Included in your Chairman’s Circle experience, for you and your guest, are accommodations for arrival on Monday, July 10 and departure on Thursday, July 13 at the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island. If you would like to request additional nights, at your own expense, please indicate when completing your RSVP. Availability and accompanying rate are based on the time of your request. We will submit your request to the hotel and respond back via email shortly.

Travel

Roundtrip travel for you and your guest is provided by Coldwell Banker into Charleston International Airport (CHS). Please reserve your travel by calling Travel Leaders at 800.701.5195, Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm CT. When calling, please note that you are part of the Coldwell Banker 2023 Chairman’s Circle Event, taking place in Kiawah Island, SC, and provide your name for the reservation. Please complete your travel reservations by Friday, June 2.

Activities

Tuesday afternoon includes the opportunity to experience Kiawah Island by land or sea, either on the golf course, in a kayak, on a boat encountering dolphins and seashells or fishing. If adventuring a little further is more your preference, you can enjoy a Charleston City Boat Tour or a downtown Charleston culinary walking tour. Peruse the options below and select an activity for you and your guest.

Chairman’s Circle Activities Options
Included in your Chairman’s Circle trip to Kiawah Island is an activity to enjoy on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 11. Please review the options below and select an activity for you and your guest to provide when completing your RSVP. Activity sign-ups are first come, first served, and we ask you to provide a first and second choice when completing the RSVP.

Golf on the Greens of Kiawah Island
Ocean views and challenging greens await the golfer on the links on Kiawah Island. Enjoy a round of golf that will challenge your skill but delight your senses with manicured fairways and greens and majestic views.

Tee Times: Tee times will begin at 12:30pm.
Golf Clubs: Golf club rental is included if needed.
Attire: Collared golf shirts and shorts with SPF protection are recommended, along with a hat and polarized sunglasses.

Charleston Harbor Boat Tour
Travel the backwaters of the Kiawah and Stono rivers into the historic Charleston Harbor. During the hour-long journey to the harbor, you are sure to encounter some of the low country’s spectacular avian and marine life along the banks of the river. Once reaching the harbor, you will see where pirates fought, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, and the numerous steeples highlighting Charleston’s skyline. Get a close look at Castle Pinckney, Ft. Sumter and the USS Yorktown as your captain navigates around the downtown peninsula. From pirate and ghost stories to rich Charleston history and marine heritage, this tour is a wonderful way to see the holy city from the water.

Dolphin & Shelling Encounter
Board a shallow draft boat as you visit Kiawah Island’s inlets for sightings of Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and witness these intelligent marine creatures in their natural environment. As a year-round resident of the Kiawah River, inshore coastal dolphins have evolved to thrive in the high salinity of the low country. Next, accessible only by water, the resort’s naturalists will escort you to a remote barrier island known for its shells. Photos are encouraged and collecting limits are applied to help preserve the beach and its inhabitants for future generations.

Kayak Paddling Tour
Guided by knowledgeable naturalists, glide through the Kiawah River and its maze of tidal creeks where you will view wildlife and learn about Kiawah Island’s pristine salt marshes while experiencing the tranquility of paddling. An instruction and safety lesson are included. This is a moderate activity.

Fishing Charter
From nearshore wrecks and reefs to inland rivers and shallow water creeks, Kiawah’s surrounding saltwater marine environment allows for year-round fishing opportunities. Using 24-foot center console bay boats and light/medium tackle fishing gear, the resort’s professional fishing guides provide a memorable experience for first-time and experienced anglers alike. All charters proudly practice catch/tag and release fishing ethics.

Downtown Culinary Walking Tour:
The Downtown Charleston Culinary Tour combines elements of a historical tour with a culinary adventure. Through a broad range of tastings from local food establishments and expert narrative from a city-certified guide, you will gain insight into traditional lowcountry cuisine. This is an original tour around the French Quarter and City Market and focuses on the must-try flavors of the region.

Skill Level: Easy – bring an appetite!
Attire: Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire.

Tour Time: 1– 4pm
